PETALUMA, CA — A Petaluma man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of indecent exposure after he was allegedly seen masturbating on his apartment balcony, which overlooks the complex's pool, police said in a news release. Officers with the Petaluma Police Department responded at 7:30 p.m. Sunday to an apartment complex in the 150 block of Ellis Street and spoke with witnesses who provided a suspect description and his possible apartment number, police Sgt. Lance Novello said.

Officers made contact with Rolando Ramirez, 24, who was then positively identified by witnesses and placed under citizen's arrest, Novello said.

Ramirez was booked into Sonoma County jail on suspicion of indecent exposure as well as an outstanding warrant, according to Novello.
