Alumni of Zappa's Mothers of Invention to Play Mystic

Will play many beloved Zappa compositions including "I Am The Slime", "Trouble Everyday", "Village Of The Sun" and "Big Swifty" Friday, July 27.

A band featuring three former members of the Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention band will bring their special blend of musical mayhem to Petaluma with a show at the Mystic on Friday, July 27.

Called Grandmothers of Invention, the group can be described as a blend of rock and jazz and is stopping in town as part of their cross country tour.

The band showcases the talents of Mothers of Invention/Zappa alumni
Napoleon Murphy Brock, Don Preston and Tom Fowler, along with Chris Garcia doing drums and vocals and
Mike Miller on electric guitar.
