• Sonoma County supervisor candidate says her campaign was target of violent online threat (pressdemocrat.com) — A violent online threat against Petaluma City Schools trustee and supervisor candidate Joanna Paun is now being investigated by Petaluma police after her campaign reported it to multiple agencies. Paun and Cotati Mayor Sylvia Lemus issued a rare joint statement condemning threats and racist harassment, as the hate messages begin to affect Paun's work with foster and homeless youth and her family's sense of safety.
