B Street Closure: Latest On Petaluma Sewer Replacement Project
With a majority of construction to 5th and E streets done, work on the B Street phase is starting.
PETALUMA, CA — With construction underway on the B Street Sewer Replacement Project in downtown Petaluma, the city advised that beginning Wednesday, Oct. 16, B Street will be closed between 4th and 5 streets as the next phase of construction begins.
The project includes replacement of sewer mains and laterals, as well as water main and services, followed by paving on B Street, E Street, 5th Street and Hinman Lane. Sewer main installation and water service installation has been completed on 5th and E streets, though minor work will continue in both areas for sidewalk and ADA ramp work.
During the B Street phase, traffic through 4th Street toward Kentucky Street will be maintained, according to the city.
