Babies on Board - Drive Carefully!

It's springtime and eggs are hatching - ducks from across the road at the Petaluma Community Center lake are wandering The Plaza North parking lot with their baby ducklings, often turning up in the most unexpected places!

This mother and her huge brood was wandering the parking lot near CVS and Redwood Credit Union.  One baby got left behind at the other side of the curb until a good Samaritan found the baby and lifted it over so it could join the rest of the family.

A few minutes later, our good Samaritan was joined by another good Samaritan and they shepherded the ducklings out of traffic and up to safety.

Let's get these baby ducklings and others safely to adulthood! Please drive carefully!
