Authorities ID Man Found Dead Near Wrecked Motorcycle In Petaluma
The discovery Tuesday prompted authorities to close one lane of Lakeville Highway in Petaluma for about three hours.

PETALUMA, CA — A man found dead Tuesday near a wrecked motorcycle in Petaluma has been identified by the Sonoma County coroner's office as Jason Roseveare, 40, of El Dorado. Caltrans workers who were cutting high grass Tuesday morning along Lakeville Highway found Roseveare's body near a drainage culvert around 8:40 a.m. near the South McDowell Extension, according to the Petaluma Police Department.
It appeared Roseveare was the victim of a solo-vehicle crash, but police have not received any information about when it happened, authorities said.
The discovery prompted authorities to close one lane of westbound Lakeville Highway at the S. McDowell extension for about three hours Tuesday.
