On Friday, Americana Mayhem brings a mix of burlesque, old-fashioned circus with a rockabilly twist to the Rocks Bar & Lounge tonight at 8pm. The show will make you laugh and raise your glass to the wicked and wild antics of this San Francisco based variety show. $10

If you just want to hear good tunes, the Tom Petty cover band Petty Theft is performing at the Mystic and tickets are just $16. Doors open at 8:30pm
If you’re a cinaphile, you don’t want to miss the Fourth Annual Film Fest going on Saturday, featuring more than 30 short films from all over the world and will feature Q&As with some of the directors. Starts at 2:30pm at the Mystic. Tickets from $10.

Love to garden? Don’t miss happening today. Valley Vista Elementary, the Petaluma Bounty Farm and the Arts and Ecology Center in Occidental are all hosting wonderful sales where you can find unique starts and get tips from fellow gardeners.
Finally, singing cowboy Scott Garber performs at the Petaluma Regional Library, singing songs about life on the farm and Sonoma County’s early history. Free. 2pm Saturday.
