They totally rock, in all the right ways…” - Argus-Courier Join us as we kick off "Thursdays Live Music On The Deck" at Taps on the River in historic downtown Petaluma! We'll be performing our upbeat blend of original alternative, progressive, rock, with our own spin on classic hits you know and love from the 60s-90s (e.g. Beatles, CCR, Doors, Police, Men At Work, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Tears for Fears, Steely Dan, U2, and more).With searing sax and guitar solos, melodic vocals, and thought provoking lyrics, the original cuts will get you tapping and thinking as you enjoy fine craft brews and an array of delicious fare from the Taps menu. The Social Contractors lineup for this event includes band founder, Jason E. Davies (vocals, lead/rhythm guitar), Travis Thayer (sax/keys/vocals), Rob Neidel (bass/vocals), and guest artist Robert Ramirez (drums). An intimate northern CA pub vibe plus amazing views overlooking the Petaluma river makes this a uniquely enjoyable venue.

Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center’s annual fundraiser, Farm to Stable, brings together supporters, local chefs, farmers, business leaders, and friends of Giant Steps for an evening at the barn celebrating the organization’s work and community. Set against the backdrop of the equestrian facility, the event features a locally sourced dining experience, craft beverages, opportunities to meet the horses, and both live and silent auctions with thoughtfully curated items and experiences.
Giant Steps serves more than 400 people each year, including individuals with disabilities, military veterans, and others across the community. Our Summer schedule is out and if you’ve been considering Wise Girl Workshops for a while, now is a great opportunity to give it a test drive. Many of our long-time members started at our summer camps and found that what we have to offer is what they want to bring into their school year.But we also have many members who just attend for the summer. They make it a priority to get on their calendar for June and July.And then, we’ve always got new girls who just show up for the week. They want connection, fun, and don’t want to deal with the big crowds that some summer camps have to offer.So if you have a daughter who would like to be a part of a small group for the week, then this could be the best camp for her summer. We engage in art projects, games, and have meaningful discussions focused on the theme of the week.There’s no doubt, she’ll walk away with more self-esteem and confidence under her belt. Because when you show up to a summer camp at Wise Girl Workshops, it’s more than just activities. It’s about helping her feel liked and loved for exactly who she is. Uncork your summer of love &amp; let the good wines roll with an afternoon exploring the eight wine destinations of downtown Petaluma.
Welcome to the first ever Petaluma Summer Wine Stroll - a follow up to last December's highly successful Winter Wine Stroll. Explore the eight wine tasting rooms and wine bars along the one mile span of downtown Petaluma. Each location will be pouring 2-3 of their most popular wines. We have also added in two downtown restaurants, Della Fattoria and Hank's, to provide you with some satiation along your journey.
This stroll is Woodstock themed! - We encourage 60's and 70's inspired outfits or flair of any sort.
All attendees will be divided up among the eight wine businesses for their check-in point. You will begin at one of the assigned locations to check in and receive your wristband(s) and plastic GoVino glass(es).
CHECK-IN POINTS WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU THREE DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT. The master check-in list will be available on this event page three days before the event as well.
$65 Wristbands. $35 for DD Wristbands.
