SF Bay Area's Back pOrchEstra offers American Roots music and all it inspired with rich acoustic tones and fresh yet retro genre-blending with a broad range of original and historic country blues, Zydeco, roots rock, Tex Mex, rockabilly, Singer-Songwriter, Motown, Brazilian and Louisiana music.... a unique, catchy, funky, moody sound, drawing from the varied past with Candy Girard, Tim Eschliman, Gary Potterton, Bowen Brown and Joe Kyle, Jr. Comparison's have been made to the music of Big Al Anderson (NRBQ), The Band, JJ Cale, Asleep At The Wheel, Dan Hicks, Buddy & Julie Miller, Jesse Ed Davis & Levon Helm.
This collaboration with Back pOrchEstra and Jesse DeNatale was initiated earlier this year, and brings together a unique set of grooves, moods and lyricism with players from all over Northern CA.
