Workshops & Activities

• Build an Ofrenda: Create a beautiful miniature ofrenda (altar) to honor someone you love. Decorate your handcrafted birch altar with photos, papel picado, and meaningful keepsakes, creating a lasting tribute that fits beautifully in your home or workspace. Please bring a favorite photograph or small memento to personalize your altar.
• Calaveras of Memory: Discover the colorful tradition of Mexican sugar skulls while decorating your own handcrafted calavera. Emma will begin with a brief introduction to the history and symbolism of sugar skulls and their role in Día de los Muertos celebrations before demonstrating traditional decorating techniques
• Smudge Workshop: Come gather in community and craft your own beautiful smudge sticks—bundles of intention, healing, and natural magic. In this hands-on workshop, you will be guided in creating two custom smoke wands using local and sustainable grown sage, herbs and flowers by Cathrina from Cat-Hawk Gardens.
• Aura Photography: Casa Prisma is a Bay Area aura photography studio that captures your energy field in both photo and video. A few minutes on the biosensors, and you walk away with a portrait of your own light, plus a warm, grounded read on what your colors might mean.
• Henna Painting: Be the canvas! Ragani Henna offers natural henna body art with traditional, contemporary, and custom designs.
