Camp Petaluma, Petaluma's New Favorite Summer Camp!

Camp Petaluma is now open for summer camp registrations.

Camp Petaluma is a fun, safe, traditional summer day camp for children entering1st-6th grade located at Valley Vista Elementary School. Campers will participate in games, sports, arts and crafts, special events and more! We are also offering an all girls camp for ages 1st and 2nd grade as well a second camp for 3rd-5th graders. For our older campers we have our Campers in Training program for kids entering 7th and 8th grade.

Here are descriptions of the camps we are offering:

OUR TRADITIONAL CAMPS

Our Traditional Camps are full of fun! Whether your camper wants to play an action packed game of cone-ball or create a beautiful work of art we have something for everyone. In addition, campers will spend their days making friends with fellow campers and our amazing staff. Each week is unique, our activities are based on a weekly theme that ends with an EPIC special event!

CAMP ARROWHEAD

(ages entering 1st grade - entering 2nd grade)
Camp Arrowhead is designed for our youngest campers. Campers will spend their day playing camp games, participating in sports and creating works of art. Camp Arrowhead campers will also participate in dance parties, wild west day and much more!
$190/per week ($10 sibling discount)

CAMP SEQUOIA

(ages entering 3rd grade - entering 4th grade)
Camp Sequoia is designed for our middle age campers. Campers will spend their days playing games and sports as well as more intricate arts and crafts. Camp Sequoia campers have days full of adventure including, treasure hunts, archeology digs, and FIFA soccer tournaments just to name a few.
$190/per week ($10 sibling discount)

CAMP REDWOOD

(ages entering 5th grade - entering 6th grade)
Camp Redwood is designed for our oldest campers. No detail has been overlooked in creating the ultimate camp experience for these campers! Staff has taken the time to create activities, crafts and events to impress even our most discerning campers. From "street-ball basketball" tournaments to sing along karaoke, campers will have the best summer ever!

OUR GIRLS CAMPS

Is your camper ready for an explosion of arts and crafts, wacky games, and making new friends? Camp Dragonfly and Wildflower are sure to fill up quickly!

CAMP DRAGONFLY

(ages entering 1st grade - entering 2nd grade)
Join Camp Dragonfly for a summer full of excitement and fun! With Camp Dragonfly there is a new adventure each day. Drawing inspiration from books and movies such as Harry Potter, Nancy Drew, Ivy and Bean and the Babysitters Clubthis camp is packed full of imagination, skill building and plain old fun!
For Camp Dragonfly we will be bringing in specialists for different activities, going on adventures and making new friends. Whether it's having a picnic outside or creating and American Doll story book, Camp Dragonfly has a place for every girl!
$190/per week ($10 sibling discount)

CAMP WILDFLOWER

(ages entering 3rd grade - entering 5th grade)
In Camp Wildflower campers will test their skills and creativity with activities they've always wanted to try. A typical week might include candle making, creating homemade trail mix, learning to sew, playing gaga-ball and art studio time.
With a great mix of indoor and outdoor time, these girls will be busy! Get ready to experience and explore a great summer in Camp Wildflower!
$190/per week ($10 sibling discount)

BEFORE CARE & AFTER CARE

(ages entering 1st grade - CIT's)
Before Care and After Care is available for all of our camps.
Before Care: 7:30am-9:00am ($5 drop in, or $20 per week)
In Before Care children can participate in camp staff led games, board games or arts and crafts.
After Care: 3:00pm-6:00pm ($15 drop, $60 per week)
In After Care, children will be served a healthy snack and drink and then particiapte in games, arts and crafts, and playground time (Children will also have use of the Multi-purpose room).
Please note: If you are late picking up your child (after 6:00pm), you will be charged $1 for every minute after 6:00pm.

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM

The CIT program is a great introduction to becoming a camp counselor! CITs will work alongside camp staff and learn the day-to-day operations of camp and what it takes to be employed at Camp Petaluma. The program will develop your child’s leadership skills through training, observation and practice.
CITS are expected to participate in and assist with camp activities, help supervise campers at all times, work under the supervision of the Camp Director and help provide a fun, positive and safe experience for campers.
Our goal for our CITS is to make friends, learn leadership skills and enjoy a summer with Camp Petaluma!
CIT Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:45am-3:00pm
