Car Show Fundraiser Hosted Saturday By Salvation Army, Petaluma

The family-friendly "CARe Show for Kids" is free to the public at Casa Grande High School. BBQ, music, raffles & more planned.

PETALUMA, CA — The Salvation Army of Petaluma on Saturday will host its 10th annual "CARe Show for Kids" — a car show, barbeque and community fundraiser for the organization's back-to-school supply drive for local children.

The free, family-friendly event will be July 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Casa Grande High School, 333 Casa Grande Road in Petaluma.

Petaluma's chief of police will award the trophies to the winners of the classic car contest, plus music, raffles, goodie bags, food and tours of the Casa Grande Fish hatchery are planned.
