Did you know that if you are between the ages of 40 and 59 you are likely to be called to support an older adult with caregiving? Eventually, we will all take a turn and provide care-giving for someone we love. Among all adults with at least one parent age 65 or older, 30% say their parent or parents need help to handle their affairs or care for themselves.
There is a growing need for care-givers as we live longer. This workshop will provide the strategies needed to address the emotional fatigue, discuss quality care options and answer financial questions. It will also highlight local resources that can be supportive during the care-giving journey.
Be informed, and become inspired at a workshop sponsored by The Fabulous Women, titled Care-Giving with Grace: Creating a Path for Dignity for Aging Loved Ones on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Rooster Run Golf Club and Event Center, 2301 E. Washington Street, Petaluma CA 94954.
