Comedy, Rivertown Work Days and Yoga for Cyclists

On Saturday, it’s comedy night at the Rocks Bar & Lounge on Kentucky Street. The evening starts at 6:30pm and includes free appetizers and discounts on drinks.

The main act is Del Van Dyke, a semi-finalist in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition who has appeared on everything from Evening at the Improv and Comedy on the Road to HBO. $10 Rock’s Bar & Lounge. 146 Kentucky St.
On Sunday, brings a unique yoga class aimed specifically at training and rehabbing cyclists and runners.

Taught my David Moreno, creator of Wheel of Yoga for Cyclists DVD, the class will guide students through a series of user-friendly and highly practical sets of pre- and post-ride hatha yoga practices. 11am at Kentucky St. Includes 45 minute ride or run, followed by post ride practice and lab. $50 in advance/$55 at the door
There’s just a week left before the Rivertown Revival and the organizers still need help making decorations, signs and other displays for the festival. Head down to Steamer Landing Park this Sunday and roll up your sleeves at the group’s work day. 10-2pm. Refreshments served.
