Cooling Center Open in Petaluma
If you don't have air conditioning, head to the cooling center. The elderly and very young as especially susceptible to heat issues.

Cooling centers are open today in the North Bay, where temperatures are expected to reach or exceed 100 degrees in many areas.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for the San Francisco Bay region between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. today.
In Petaluma, the Community Center at 320 N. McDowell Blvd. in Lucchesi Park is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and Thursday.
