Crash On Lakeville Highway Causes Traffic Backups In Petaluma

PETALUMA, CA — Lakeville Highway reopened at the site of a crash Monday, police said.

The collision at Pine View Way caused traffic backups late Monday morning.

Drivers were told to avoid Lakeville Highway at Pine View Way until further notice, Petaluma police said in a Nixle alert issued at 10:53 a.m. Monday.

"Southbound Lakeville Highway is closed causing traffic backups," police said. "Alternate routes are recommended."

Police lifted the traffic advisory shortly after 11:30 a.m. Monday.
