Small Vegetation Fire Burns Near Homes In West Petaluma
"The fire was quickly contained resulting in no involvement of the 3 structures that were originally threatened," the Petaluma FD said.

PETALUMA, CA — Firefighters quickly put an end Tuesday to a brush fire that burned near homes in West Petaluma.
The blaze was first reported at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday on Treehaven Lane, according to the Petaluma Fire Department.
"The first arriving engine reported ¼ acre of grass burning toward some structures and requested
additional resources," Petaluma FD Battalion Chief Mike Medeiros said.

Shortly thereafter, an engine from Cal Fire and a Petaluma Fire battalion chief arrived at the scene.
"The fire was quickly contained resulting in no involvement of the 3 structures that were originally threatened," Medeiros said.

There were no injuries reported and the fire was brought under full control shortly before 7 p.m.
