Cynthia Ermshar of Petaluma is the top fundraiser for the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Petaluma
Over $376,000 raised for the Alzheimer's Association, with 174 teams participating and over 1500 walkers in attendance
What a great night at the celebration party for the Petaluma Walk to End Alzheimer's" and honoring all of the participants, teams & staff members that participated in this year's events.
There were 174 teams and over 1500 walkers at the #Petaluma Walk that took place at Sholleberger Park back in October. Collectively over $376,000 was raised for the cause.
And congratulations to Cynthia Ermshar for raising individually $19,043 for the cause making her the #1 fundraiser as an individual (out of the 1500 walkers) and which placed her at #50 in the entire nation. On top of that, her community team raised a total of $23,943 making her the #1 team (out of 174 teams).

Congratulations and thanks to everybody that brought awareness to this dreaded disease, raised funds for the cause, all which will hopefully one day ultimately lead to a cure.
Currently, more than 5 million American’s have Alzheimer’s and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
