Dog Safety on Hot Days

We are heading into some hot days. Don’t let your animals suffer. Even ten minutes in a hot car can cause permanent damage to your animal or even death. Why would you do that?

Petaluma Animal Services does not recommend leaving your dog in the car on a hot day under any circumstances. Please be aware that if we see an animal at risk in our parking lot we will not hesitate call the police.
