Celebrate the First Airmail Flight at the Library

Petaluma is hosting a series of events in February in honor of the 100th anniversary of the country's first airmail flight.
On Thursday, Feb. 17, the actual date of the flight, the library will feature a presentation by Mike Glose from the Petaluma Area Pilots Association, followed by a walk to the spot (in Kenilworth Park) where Fred Wiseman took off on his historic flight.
Visitors can also stop by the library to see the commemorative stamp, postcard & envelope display.
