The Petaluma Wetlands Alliance is hosting its third Annual Petaluma Christmas Bird Count for Kids on Saturday, January 7 at Kenilworth Recreation Center across the street from the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds and next to the Petaluma Library.
Last year, participants counted birds, saw a demos of rescued birds like turkey vultures, red-tailed hawks and the great horned owl and played bird bingo.
