The processes demonstrated can be applied to any surface that
accepts paint, including wood, metal, paper, ceramics, glass or
plastics. If you are a jeweler, potter, sculptor, fabric artist, painter,

innovative techniques to enhance your work. Demos include
gilding with 22 karat gold, copper, silver and Dutch metal leaf,
using traditional oil sizing method of gilding plus creative gilding
techniques, and various cold patina processes working safely
with mild acids. David Marks is a furniture maker, wood-turner
and artist whose inspiration comes from a fusion of styles
including ancient Egyptian, African, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and
Asian. He has been working with gilding & patination since 1989.
