This is an introductory course in figure drawing, which will give students a basic anatomical understanding of the human form. You will have the opportunity to apply observations of live costumed models into visual expression. Three different professional models will create a theatrical interaction between the artist and the subject. They will be adorned in dynamic costumes to create a diverse spectrum of color, line and form. Materials used will include graphite, charcoal and colored pastels. No drawing experience necessary. Ages 12+.
