Petaluma’s popular downtown retail, restaurant and entertainment destination is hosting free summer outdoor movies for the entire community to enjoy.
Flicks by the Fountain is perfectly positioned in front of the artful centerpiece, Faces of Petaluma Fountain in Theatre Square, an inflatable 24’x26’ screen will offer guests free outdoor movies with Flicks by the Fountain starting June 14.
The fun outdoor community event will be offered twice a month throughout the summer. The public is invited to bring low-back chairs and blankets to enjoy a casual date night or family outing featuring fun “flicks” on the large outdoor screen for all to enjoy. Basin Street Properties along with the merchants of the Theatre District are offering this as an opportunity to gather and celebrate the community spirit of downtown Petaluma.
This free and family-friendly community event starts officially at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.) on June 14, June 28, July 12, July 26, August 9 and August 23. Movie titles will be announced via the Theatre District Facebook page (The Theatre District - Petaluma).
Adding to the ambiance of the outdoor movie setting will be traditional movie fare vendors including Boulevard Cinemas and Powell’s Sweet Shoppe offering popcorn and other treats for guests to purchase making their moving going experience complete!
