Free Senior Scam Stopper Seminar With Assemblymember Jared Huffman

Seniors are the fastest growing segment of California’s population and are often the targets for manipulative scam artists. With fraudulent scams on the rise in California, the Contractors State Licensing Board and Assemblymember Jared Huffman are hosting the 2012 Senior Scam Stoppers in your area.

This program is a free and easy way to help educate seniors about scams involving finances, internet and telephone solicitations, insurance, home repair and improvements, landscaping and automotive repair.

During the two-hour seminar, a panel of representatives from various government agencies will discuss some of the methods these scam artists utilize and how to avoid falling victim to scams.
