A special fund raising event for the nonproft "Bright World Arts". The event will begin at noon with a gourmet, home cooked Indian meal and at 1:30, there will be a concert of North Indian classical music with John Wubbenhorst-bansuri and Samrat Kakkeri-tabla. John is a disciple of the bansuri maestro Hariprasad Chaurasia and Samrat Kakkeri is one of India's greatest virtuosos on tabla. Admission to the event is $25 in advance ($30 at the door) and can be reserved by calling 707.664.9245 (the buffet lunch is included in admission). "Bright World Arts" is a meaningful nonprofit which spreads world art forms through concert, workshops and archival research (more information at www.brightworldarts.org ).
