As a “midwife to the dying” she draws upo ntwenty years of nursing experience in oncology, critical care, and hospice - working inhospitals, non-profits and as a private consultant.

“Last Acts of Kindness: Lessons for theLiving from the Bedsides of the Dying” is comprised of moving true stories that take place inhospitals, residential facilities, and homes. These engaging tales reveal the challenges and rewards that face the dying, their loved ones, and the professionals who care for them. They also lead us to consider our own beliefs about the great questions of life and death.
