Lion's Hill

Lion’s Hill is an original band based in Santa Rosa. Maxwell Allen and Matthew Lyons started the band in early 2010. They have played together for several years in different settings, as background music at private parties, many open mics and taking the stage at small venues in the Sonoma County area.

Maxwell and Mathew write songs together, separately and bring their own influences to create a unique blend of Rock, Pop, American Folk, and Indie with a twist of Blues.

With both of them having prior experience in bands they have wasted no time in booking, recording and even playing a small North Western tour in the summer of 2010.

Bassist Brett Marquette joined the band in Fall 2010, and provides a complimentary and dynamic sound, as well as supporting with background vocals.

In the Winter of 2010 drummer Jeremy Vaughn completed the bands line up.
