The Petaluma Women’s Chorus, under the direction of Melinda Moreaux-Valente, will begin rehearsals for its fall session on Monday, September 24 from 7-9:30. The fee is $145, but not one is turned away for lack of funds.
This session’s program will focus on music for the Christmas season and include works for women’s chorus and harp by Britten and Brahms. The session will culminate with a concert in St. John’s historic sanctuary on December 9th.
The Petaluma Women’s Chorus was founded in 1996 under the direction of Melinda Moreaux-Valente and currently rehearses in Penngrove. More information about the chorus can be found at melindamoreaux.com
