Documentary Highlights Problems in Education; Call to Arms for Teachers, Administrators

Race to Nowhere is a fascinating documentary about the pressures facing students in classrooms across the nation, burned out educators and parents who are trying to do what’s best for their kids.

Race to Nowhere points to the silent epidemic in schools, from disengaged students, rampant cheating, stress-related illness, depression and burnout by young adults who despite all the efforts still arrive to college unprepare.

The documentary, which came out last year, is a call to mobilize families, educators, and policy makers to challenge current assumptions on how to best prepare the youth of America to become healthy, bright, contributing and leading citizens.
