Rivertown Revival Kick-off Fundraiser: Suds for the Slough

Rivertown Revival’s Fundraiser: Suds for the Slough will officially kick off all community aspects of this year’s Rivertown Revival.  Participants will have the opportunity to sign up to make a Rivertown scarecrow, artboat, slough art, land(ing) art or garden installation. Participants will also learn about community workdays, art boat making, and barn raising days.  $20.00 entry fee includes entertainment, dinner and two beverages. Two participating bands for this year’s Rivertown Revival, The Easy Leaves and the Crux, will be performing, whilst $5 weddings and vow renewals take place.  Dinner by Bros BBQ is included, along with two beverages.  “We are thrilled to be organizing the best Rivertown Revival yet, and are especially proud to be engaging with our community in the months leading up to the festivities.  We are an all-volunteer organizing group on a very tight budget.  We work hard to keep the Rivertown Revival affordable, so this major fundraiser is critical in helping us realize that goal,” says Suds for the Slough organizer, Chris Aluia. Hosted at Sonoma County's epic brewery, fundraising powerhouse, and great champion of all things community, Lagunitas Brewing Co. This exciting evening will celebrate community, music, art, food, relationships, and Rivertown Revival, The Greatest Slough on Earth.

The event will feature:

  • Ways to get involved:  Create a Rivertown Garden, Scarecrow, Artboat, Slough Art, Land(ing) Art; Volunteer; Get married; Join us on Community Days
  • Lagunitas
  • Live entertainment with The Easy Leaves and The Crux
  • A complete dinner by Bros BBQ
  • $5 weddings and vow renewals
  • A terrific raffle
