Learn the basics of pruning trees, with emphasis on fruit trees, and winter care, including disease control. We will have instruction indoors at Elim and hands on at the Bounty Farm, in the orchard and the entrance espalier. Apples, pears, and more.
Taught by Ellen Solomon
Ellen is a Certified Arborist, Horticulturist, and has experience with home orchards in the Sierra Foothills and Petaluma. You can find her on the web at NorthBayHorticulture.com. She directs the fruit tree program at the Bounty Farm Orchard, which includes 24 varieties of heirloom apples.
