The Word Up! Fair will be a day full of authors, entertainers, local learning resources and “how to” opportunities. Learn to DJ, build a gray water system, practice pilates, learn basic auto care, and even learn about the stars with Chabot-to-Go's digital planetarium. Many activities for all ages and literacy/language levels- all for free!
On the main stage will be author Anne Lamott, Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey, Samba Da, the Banana Slug Band, and more. Halloween costume contest and activities for kids!
