SONOMA COUNTY, CA – An experimental aircraft landed with its landing gear up Sunday at the Petaluma Municipal Airport, a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman said.
The plane called a Velocity skidded to a stop on its belly on runway 29, spokesman Allen Kenitzer said.
Only the pilot was onboard, and no injuries were reported.

First responders found the small aircraft with minimal damage, officials said.
