Fatality Reported In Penngrove Crash: CHP

Emergency personnel tried to resuscitate the victim of a crash at Grove Street and Old Adobe Road, according to the CHP.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — The California Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash Tuesday afternoon in Penngrove.

Shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday, a person was found unresponsive inside a car in a ditch in the 9700 block of Grove Street, near Old Adobe Road, according to CHP dispatchers.

Emergency personnel responded and tried to resuscitate the person.

The Sonoma County Coroner's Office was then summoned to the scene.

As of 4 p.m. Tuesday, authorities were still at the crash site.
