Harvest Christian School received $14,542 in the form of an IMPACT grant from the Petaluma Educational Foundation (PEF) on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

Harvest Christian School received $14,542 in the form of an IMPACT grant from the Petaluma Educational Foundation (PEF) on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
The PEF Technology Initiative in its third year strives to encourage use of these grants to directly impact instruction based on three guiding goals that:
1. Optimize the learning environment for all students (level the playing field and raise the bar toprovide equal access and opportunity to learn for every student),

Harvest will use the funds to purchase 4 HG Wall-Mount Projector Arms4 Clarity Electric Wall Screens 4 ELMO TT-12i Teacher’s Tool and Projector Presentation Bundles (Doc Cameras & Projectors) 6 JVC GY-HM70U HD Camcorders6 Magnus VT-4000 Tripod Systems.
“The goal of our PEF grant is to equip our four junior high classrooms with document cameras, projectors and screens, as well as digital video cameras and accessories to better facilitate teacher instruction and student presentations in order to bring to life a vibrant, enriching classroom experience,” says Jake Aharonian, Vice Principal at Harvest Christian School.
“We are so thankful to the PEF for selecting our school this year to receive the Impact Grant. The purchase and setup of this technology will insure that our teachers have the most up-to-date, interactive tools that allow students of all learning abilities the chance tosucceed in the classroom.”
