Here's How Much Rain Has Fallen In Petaluma
About a quarter-inch of rain has fallen Thursday in parts of Petaluma, with more rain and possibly a thunderstorm still to come.
PETALUMA, CA — Rainfall totals began to climb Thursday in Petaluma and the North Bay as a storm bore down on the Bay Area, with more showers and possibly a thunderstorm still to come.
The chance of rain in Petaluma was expected to fall slightly from 80 percent Thursday afternoon to 70 percent Thursday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
"New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms," the NWS said Thursday afternoon.

As of 3:40 p.m. Thursday, here is how much rain has fallen in Sonoma County and Petaluma over the past 24 hours, according to the weather service:

- Petaluma-Liberty Road 0.20 inches
