Holiday Lighted Boat Parade Makes Petaluma River Shine

Thousands lined the river banks as glistening watercraft of all sizes paraded past.

PETALUMA, CA — With thousands of people lining its banks, the Petaluma River shined bright Saturday night during the return of the annual Holiday Lighted Boat Parade hosted by the Petaluma Yacht Club.

Watercraft of all types, from stately yachts to sailboats to stand-up paddleboards, were decorated with holiday lights that reflected off the water — a memorable way to celebrate the holiday season.

The festive boats made their way from the Petaluma Marina to the Turning Basin for all to see.
