Juvenile Stabbed At Petaluma Pool Hall

PETALUMA, CA – A juvenile underwent surgery after being stabbed Friday night at Buffalo Billiards in Petaluma, according to police.

Petaluma Police Department officers were called at 11:41 p.m. to the pool hall at 246 Petaluma Boulevard North on the report of a stabbing, however, no victim or suspects were at the scene.

The victim, meanwhile, had been taken by "private transport" to Petaluma Valley Hospital where he underwent surgery for a non-life-threatening, large slash wound to his torso, police said.

The male initially said he was 18 years old, however, police later learned he was a minor and did not release his age or name. Officials said they suspect the stabbing was gang-related, adding that the victim is disclosing few details.

The male is expected to fully recover, police said.
