Know This Woman? Cops Wish To Speak With Her Regarding Petaluma Casino Theft

Police say she allegedly stole cash and chips from a patron's handbag at Park West Casino.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA –Police are asking for the public's help to identify a woman who allegedly stole cash and casino chips from another woman's purse as she gambled at a Petaluma casino Saturday morning.

Around 9:50 a.m., officers received a report of grand theft at Park West Casino at 5151 Montero Way, police said.

The victim told officers she was gambling when she discovered a large amount of money and casino chips had been stolen from her purse, which was hanging on the back of her chair, according to police.

After reviewing surveillance video, officers determined a female suspect had taken the woman's purse and went into a restroom.

A few minutes later, the suspect returned and placed the purse back on the chair, police said.

The suspect was described as an Asian woman, about 50 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with short brown hair. She was wearing a blue sweater, a gray long sleeve shirt, gray jeans and gold shoes,
according to police.
