Learn About Multimedia with Petaluma Patch
Patch is teaming up with WordUp Fair to teach you how to make media; Vote on which classes you're most interested in

On Sunday, October 30, Literacy Works, an organization that provides adult education and literacy services throughout Sonoma County, is putting on the WordUp Fair, an event that celebrates not food, music or Petaluma's glorious history as the egg basket of the world, but learning. Life-long learning.
Petaluma Patch is one of participants and will be holding mini-workshops about how you can make media yourself, by blogging, create great slideshows, videos, articles and more. Don't wait for someone to tell you what the news is. Learn the basics and make your own.
In the spirit of a participatory democracy, we would like to hear from you about what kind of courses you are most interested in. Please keep in mind that we are limited to workshops of about 20-30 minutes each, so will not be teaching you advanced video editing, audio recording or how to write that investigative story you've been dreaming about. But we do hope to inspire you!
