Pub Republic— This family-friendly pub on Lakeville Highway is a newcomer to Petaluma’s dining scene, but boasts a good brunch menu that includes all the staples, but also interesting items such as the Monte Cristo sandwich, egg-battered toast topped with smoked bacon and cheese and dusted with powdered sugar, Brussels sprout bacon hash and eggs and Eggs Florentine. They will also offer several Easter brunch specials, which were still not known at press time. 141 Petaluma Blvd. North. 763-0161

Maguires—Can you really go wrong with 99-cent mimosas? There was a time when this downtown bar was more known for its raucous St. Paddy’s and Super Bowl parties. But last year, Maguires began serving brunch, with staples like French toast, Eggs Benedict and omelets on the menu. 145 Kentucky St.

Two Niner Diner—If you want a more unique brunch experience, head out to the Petaluma Airport and grab brunch at the Two Niner Diner. Rancho Nicasio—Another just out of town favorite is Rancho Nicasio, which is hosting a gluttonous buffet for Easter Sunday.
