Man, 63, Arrested For Indecent Exposure In Petaluma

A female placed a 63-year-old man under citizen’s arrest for indecent exposure in Petaluma Sunday, police said Monday.

Police received a call from the citizen at 5:56 p.m. about the incident at Wilson and Jefferson streets, according to police.

The victim said she was walking on the sidewalk when she saw the man in the driver’s seat of a vehicle, police said.

The man exposed himself and masturbated as the victim walked by the vehicle, according to police. Police identified the man as Petaluma resident James Neufeld. Police said they arrested Neufeld and took him to Sonoma County Jail.
