Marin-Sonoma Narrows Project: Overnight Lane Shift On US 101

The lane shift begins at 11:59 p.m. Friday, Caltrans said.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — As part of the continued progress of the U.S. 101 Marin-Sonoma Narrows
Project, Caltrans officials advised there will be a lane shift overnight Friday on northbound U.S. Highway 101. From 11:59 p.m. Friday, June 21, until 7 a.m. Saturday, June 22, traffic will be shifted to a new traffic alignment south of San Antonio Creek for approximately three-fourths of a mile.

Speed limit in the construction area has been reduced, Caltrans officials said, and additional safety signage has been installed, as well as message boards to warn motorists of the lane shift.

Caltrans said the lane shift is weather permitting.
