A "Woman of Heart" is a fictionalized account of Petaluma's Jewish families in the 20s and 30s, a story of community, of dark family family secrets and of the stories we pass down from generation to generation. On Friday, come meet author Marcy Alancraig at a free reading at the Petaluma Historical Museum.
Also on Friday, The Stage at Clear Heart Gallery presents "Murder's in the Heir", a fun comedic murder mystery play starring teens. It's like "Clue" on the stage! The audience decides who "dunnit," meaning the ending is different at every show. Tickets just $5 and are available at www.clearheartgallery.com. Click here for more details.
Remember decorating ginger bread houses in elementary school? Who says you're too old to do it again? On Sunday, Pelican Art Gallery will hold a ginger bread decorating extravaganza, providing the ginger bread walls and roof, along with white icing for the glue and holiday candies. Participants are welcome to bring their own decorations for special effects. $10 per house.
