In Petaluma: Memorial Bench for Doug Hall

in the Fall of 2014, Petaluma lost Douglas Stewart Hall, a well-known resident and snake enthusiast. Through his Hands On Snakes program, Doug brought his keen knowledge of snakes to countless events and schools, entertaining and educating both children and adults in the process.

The Petaluma wetlands area was one of Doug’s favorite places, and to that end I have put together this campaign to fund a memorial bench honoring Doug overlooking the Petaluma River adjacent to the Alman Marsh area.

Any contribution you can spare to this fund would be greatly welcomed. Additionally, please share this campaign with anyone you know whose life was touched by Doug and his snakes, or other kindred spirits.
