Miso 101
The dietary benefits of miso date back approximately 2,500 years. It is believed to stimulate digestion and energize the body.

Miso is a traditional Japanese seasoning. It is made by fermenting soybeans with salt and fungus names “Koji”. Sometimes rice, barley, or other ingredients are used. The thick paste is sued for sauces and spreads, vegetables and meat, and of course in miso soup.
