Movies in the Park, Farmers' Market and More This Weekend

Check out what's happening around town this weekend

On Friday, grab a picnic and the kids and head to Lucchesi Park to see The Lorax on the big screen. The fun starts at 6:30pm with a bouncy house, face painting, games and barbeque available for purchase.

There is also music by Sonoma County band Clean Slate along with a visit from the Sonoma County Book Mobile. Movie screens at dusk.  

Also on Friday, stop by Boulevard Lanes to help raise money for Petaluma Police Department's K-9 Unit. The unit currently has three police dogs but is trying to purchase one more. Starts 7pm. $25 per person or $125/team (5 people). 1100 Petaluma South.

On Saturday, stop by the Petaluma Farmers’ Market in Walnut Park from 2-5:30pm. Live music and delicious local produce.

If you’re a theater buff, you won’t want to miss Cinnabar’s newest production “110 Degrees in the Shade,” based on a play by N. Richard Nash 
and featuring music by Tom Jones.

The story is set in Texas and centered around Lizzie Curry whose life is turned upside down when she meets a charismatic rainmaker named Starbuck. Tickets $25. Show starts at 8pm.
