New Coffee House With Homegrown Focus Opens in Hotel Petaluma
Local pastries, brews, wine, coffee -- lots to love at the new Roast & Vine.
Petaluma's newest downtown cafe, Roast & Vine Coffee, is hosting its grand opening on Saturday May 3 with samplings of pastries, sandwiches, coffee and beers.
Roast & Vine is in the Hotel Petaluma, in the space formerly occupied by nail salon T&T Nails -- which is now next door.
The new business sells and supports the products of Petaluma and Sonoma County, including local pastries from Bovine Bakery, Lydia's Organics for gluten-free and vegan pastries, and Sonoma Muffin Works for pastries, bagels, and delicious breakfast burritos.
In-house cafe staff will make specialty sandwiches using Full Circle bakery bread with locally grown produce and cheese.
Coffee is the main focus and Roast & Vine servers were trained by top baristas Devorah and Aimee from Equator Coffees and Teas, a San Rafael roaster that focuses on sustainability, quality and community.
With its downtown location, Roast & Vine will be a great after-work social option and serves craft beer from Petaluma Hills Brewery, Lagunitas Brewery, Heretic, Anchor Steam and other seasonal craft beers, plus wines from Sonoma and Napa counties.
