The Oaks Post-Acute in Petaluma Honors Its Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's)

The Oaks Post-Acute, a Five-Star rated facility here in Petaluma, has a history of honoring its employees. Last month during the nationally recognized and celebrated "National Nurses Week", The Oaks honored their nurses like many other organizations throughout the United States.

This week, continuing in their tradition of celebrating their employees, The Oaks honored their Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's).

CNA's often work in a wide variety of settings; nursing homes, hospitals, adult day care centers, personal homes and assisted living facilities all require nursing assistants to act as a helpful liaison between the RN or LPN and the patient. In many cases, CNAs serve as the RN’s or LPN’s eyes and ears, and relays information between many patients and nurses.

Below is the team at The Oaks Post-Acute. Management knows that they could not have a 5-Star facility without these team members providing the highest level of care every day. They relied on day-in and day-out to give the best care possible to the wonderful residents in The Oaks community.

Each day this week, they had a different themed day as they honored their CNA's.
